Brunotti surfcamps is situated in the picturesque little village of Vieux-Boucau-les-Bains. The village is well known for its beautiful beaches, charming city centre, typical french markets and lovely restaurants & bars!

About your accommodation

During your international surfcamp in France you’ll sleep in a bungalow tent. Brunotti only uses modern and spacious tents, so you’ll be getting a good night’s rest after a long day in the ocean. There are several accommodation options to choose from. All the bungalow tents are subject to availability. Do you prefer a slightly more luxurious tent? Pick the ‘Glamping’ or the ‘Glamping ‘de Luxe’. These accommodation options are available at an additional charge. The extra charge depends on the tent and the number of guests in a tent. Glamping ‘de Luxe’

This tent can accommodate 1 to 2 people. You’ll sleep on either a single or a double bed with a comfortable mattress. These tents are build on a wooden floor and equipped with electricity, a lamp and a cooling box. Are you solo travelling? In that case you’ll sleep on a single bed and you’ll share the glamping with somebody who’s also solo travelling (M/M – F/F).

Bungalow ‘Standard’

This tent can accommodate 1 to 2 people. The tent is spacious enough for all of you and your friends belongings. The tents are on a field close to the chill area of the surfcamp and sanitary blocks. Are you solo travelling? In that case you’ll sleep on a single bed and you’ll share the bungalow with somebody who’s also solo travelling (M/M – F/F)

Glamping ‘de Luxe’

This tent can accommodate up to 3 people. The tent features 3 single beds. Other than that there are chairs, a lamp, electricity and a coolingbox included. The glamping ‘de Luxe’ is one of the most populair tents at the Brunotti surfcamp and is build on a wooden floor.

About the surfing

At Brunotti international surfcamp in Vieux Boucau there’s nothing more important than surfing! We therefore put a lot of focus on (quality of) our surflessons. You’ll experience the magic feeling that surfing is when you paddle and surf your first wave towards the beach. You’ll experience for yourself how addicting and fun surfing really is.

Our surf instructors are all certified and extremely experienced in teaching surflessons in France. Contrary to other surfcamps Brunotti only teaches in groups of max. 8 students. The surflessons consist of some preparing exercises on the beach and lots of time catching waves in the water!

Free surfing
In case you got stoked after your first surfclasses, your time in the water doesn’t have to end after the surfclasses. Feel free to take one of our ‘free surf’ boards and practice in the water. The use of free surfboards is included in our surfpackages, so go in before or after your surfclass!
At Brunotti surfcamp we do have the rule that for safety purposes you must have followed at least one surftheory- and surflesson. Surftheory takes place on the first day of your holiday on Brunotti surfcamp. During the theory the surfcoaches will teach you everyting you’ll need to know in order to go into the water safely. Topics like e.g. currents, tides, equipment and areas on the beach where you’re allowed to go free surfing will be discussed. In case of extreme conditions it may not be possible to go free surfing, this however is very rare.
Theory preparation
During your surfweek at Brunotti international surfcamp we offer an extensive surftheory lesson. This interesting lesson is filled with interesting need-to-knows regarding currents, waves, tides and general safety. All the topics in theory are covered to make sure that you’re good to enjoy a week full of ocean and surf, all while enjoying a cold beer.
Wetsuit
Do you not have your own wetsuit yet? No problem! You can rent a ‘shorty’ at the surfcamp. This is a summer wetsuit that is completely yours for the rest of week and protects you against sun, cold and the surfboard. You can rent a wetsuit for 20,- a week at the camp.
Surfboards
Our choice for equipment during the surflessons is the ‘soft top’ boards. We have several sizes ‘soft tops’ that you can choose from. These boards are developed to be as forgiving as possible for the beginner surfer. It’s the perfect board for the difficult but fun learning process that surfing is, ensuring that you’ll catch your first wave within a week’s time.
We also have some hardtops in our quiver. You can pick from the sizes 9.0, 8.0 & 7.0 ft. These boards are suitable for you if you already have some experience catching waves.

Surf package A

Do you have no surf experience? Or did you take some lessons before but are you not confident yet? Surfpackage A is most likely the perfect surfpackage for you! This surfpackage is the perfect base for anybody who wants to learn surfing as quick as possible. Before the lessons start you’ll get surftheory regarding the equipment, safety and currents. Once you’ve received all the theory that you’ll need to go in the ocean you’ll go into the water with one of our experienced surfcoaches. The ultimate goal? To catch your first wave. You’ll see that this will not take long.

Surf package B

Surf package B is the package for you if you already have some experience in surfing and you want to progress onto ‘green waves’. This package is also perfect if you’re already surfing green waves but you’re looking to improve your technique.

After the extensive surftheory, where you’ll learn all that you need to know about the ocean and its dangers, you’ll go in the water! During 3 classes with a duration of 1.5 hours with one of our experienced coaches, you’ll catch the waves of your life and receive individual advice to improve your surfing. This way, you’ll be able to improve your surfing the rest of the week on your own.

Surf package C

Are you already capable of surfing green waves, but are you looking to perfect your technique down to the last detail? Surf package C is the one for you! After the advanced surf theory you’ll focus on improving specific parts of your surfing such as ‘turns’ as well as your general technique.

One of our surf coaches will be on the beach videotaping the 2 hour sessions that you’ll have in the water with an advanced, experienced surfcoach. After the surf lesson you’ll analyse the videos to improve your surf technique! This way you’ll be able to progress as much as possible during your advanced surf lessons in France.

Surf package D

No need for lessons? Or would you rather go in the ocean by yourself without a coach? Book surf package board rental! This package consists of just board rental. You have access to a surfboard for the rest of the week. At Brunotti we have a wide variety of surfboards in our quiver. Depending on your level you can choose from several sizes ‘softtops’ or ‘hardtops’. Try different ones and see for yourself which board works for you!

About Surf yoga

At Brunotti international surfcamp we know like no other how tiring a full day in the water can be. That’s why we offer surf yoga lessons 3 x a week in addition to our surfpackages. Surf yoga is an excellent way to prepare your body for your surf sessions. It prevents muscle pains and is great fun! The yoga classes are always taught outside, either in the forest or on the beach. The classes are taught by a enthousiastic & experienced yoga instructor. Surf yoga is truly an experience in itself!

About the meals

At Brunotti surfcamp we know all about good food. We prepare a delicious dinner five times a week. The daily meals are diverse, healthy and fairly priced. Once a week we fire up the grill for one of Brunotti’s famous barbecues. The Brunotti Surfcamp is home to a professional chef that cooks your meals with incredible amount of passion. The chef always makes sure that there is plenty and takes all the dietary restrictions or allergies that you may have into account. No one goes hungry after a long day of catching waves!

Every morning our breakfast crew gets up early to prepare an extensive outdoor breakfast buffet for the guests, including freshly prepared coffee, tea and fruit juices such as jus d’orange. Rise and shine!

The best days start with the best breakfast! At Brunotti surfcamp we know like no other how important it is to have a good base for a day full of sun, ocean, surf, drinks and good times.

That’s why we make sure that your day starts with a wide-ranging breakfast buffet, prepared by our breakfast crew. Every morning you get to enjoy fresh French baguettes, eggs or a croissant, porridge, fresh fruit, several sweet & savory spreads, yoghurts, muesli’s and much more. No worries, we didn’t forget freshly prepared coffee, tea and ofcourse several fruit juices such as jus d’orange. Sit down with your new friends and have a slow start to the day in the french morning sun. Vacation at its best!

Lunch

New this season: the Brunotti international surfcamp lunchservice. For only 25,- euro a week you’ll get 5 days of delicious, freshly prepared lunch. The best thing about this? You do not have to leave the beach, your lunch will be delivered on the beach by crew! The lunch consists of a daily sandwich special and an icecold drink of choice. It depends on the day what the lunchspecial is, but there’s always a vegetarian choice available.

Drinks

A beach holiday is incomplete without a cold drink. At Brunotti surfcamp in France we’ve taken this to heart and created the perfect spot to chill have drinks. Every day at 16:00 our beach bar opens at the camp. Ice cold drinks, summer tunes and good company are waiting for you!

Diner & BBQ

Every week our crew will fire up the grill at our International surfcamp. Year after year the BBQ-night is one of the highlights for our guests of their surfcamp in France. What to expect of our famous BBQ night? Icecold drinks, a variety of delicious meats (as well as vegetarian options), salads, sidedishes, summer tunes and all other things needed for a nice summer BBQ night!

Brunotti surfcamps is among other things known for its delicious dinners, and that is not a coincedence. Nothing is as important as delicious food on your holiday, especially if you spend the entire day catching waves.

For this reason Brunotti surfcamps home to a professional chef. The chef cooks with fresh and healthy products for tasty & diverse meals. Are you vegetarian, vegan or do you have one or more allergies? No problem! Let us know and we’ll make sure that you’ll enjoy dinner as much as the other guests. As the French would say, ‘Bon Appétit’!

If you’d like to have a meal package during your surfcamp in France you can let us know on the day of arrival. Payment for the meal packages take place at the end of the week. It’s up to you whether you’d like to have a meal package and if yes, which one. It’s also a possibility to let the crew know on the day itself whether you’d like to have a meal or not. About the activities

There are plenty of fun things to do next to surfing at Brunotti international surfcamp. Can you not get enough of the ocean? Go bodyboarding or skimboarding! If you’d rather stay on land, opt for a game of beach volleyball with your (new) friends. Every day the crew establishes a volleyball court, close to the common Brunotti tent on the beach. Do you prefer to just chill, enjoy the sun and watch other people surf? In that case the Brunotti surfcamp common tent is the place to be for you. All the guests and crew are usually hanging out here. There’s music playing and lots of good chats. Brunotti beach days at its best!

ALL ABOUT ACTIVITIES

Fun activities during the day ask for fun activities during the night. Every night there’s music and dancing in the party area at the camp. Drinks are flowing and good times are guaranteed. It’s even possible to go out for those that want to go into town for a drink. On walking distance from the camp there’s the Cali Coba bar, which equals 100% party. Every now and then we organise a Brunotti beach party on the beach. You definitely won’t get bored!

On tuesdays one of the highlights of the week takes place, the trip to the Spanish city San Sebastián. The city is well known for its cozy tapasbars, beautiful beaches and diverse stores. During the trip there’s plenty of time to explore the old city center, eat ice cream of swim in the beautiful panoramic bay of the city. A favorite of Brunotti guests for many, many years.

If there’s enough interest for another trip there’s also a possibility to go to the famous surftown of Hossegor. Here you find a great number of surfshops and other stores, as well as the famous surf outlets. The surf outlets are the perfect spot for all products and clothes related to surf, but with a huge discount!

Would you like to go to the Brunotti surfcamp by bus? Look no further! We offer various bustravel options. With several departure points in the Netherlands there is always a stop close to you!

The bus leaves on friday afternoon and arrives at the surfcamp early saturday morning. When you return you’ll leave France on saturday evening and arrive at the return point of your choosing on sunday.

Would you like to go to the Brunotti surfcamp by bus? Look no further! We offer various bustravel options. With departure points in Germany, Austria, & Switzerland there is always a departure point near.

The bustrip can be booked here with our transport partner. A return trip is available from 150,00 for a return trip. A single trip is available from 95,00. The departure- and return points are as follows:

Airplane- of train travel

Prefer flying? There are flights departing from all over Europe to France. It’s best to fly to either Bordeaux & take the train to St-Vincent-de-Tyrosse or fly to Biarritz. We can arrange pick-up for you on either one of these locations.

Is travelling by train the way to go for you? This also works out perfectly fine. Make sure that your endstation is St-Vincent-de-Tyrosse and if needed we can arrange a transfer for you (and your friends) from the trainstation to Brunotti surfcamp
